Come rain or shine on your visit to Blaenavon, please visit our Railway Shop - it’s on Broad Street, number 33. A real oasis of warmth and brightness, stocked with model railways, railway books (new and used) and children’s toys for your delight and pleasure. Staffed by our friendly volunteers who will be pleased to welcome and assist you to explore the latest offerings from Hornby, Bachmann, Lenz and Peco etc.

We are normally open 10:30 to 17:00 (16:00 on Saturdays), but since we are manned by volunteers problems sometimes arise, so give us a call if you are travelling any distance.

On model railway equipment, visitors get discounts, below list price, varying from 10% for a few of our lines and up to 20% for most of our products. For members discounts of up to 25% are on offer, so what further excuse do you need to join the railway?

We also stock a range of limited edition Private Owner Wagons selected from prototypes from all over South Wales, with a few from Dean Forest, Bristol and Oxfordshire. Click here for full details.
